Fine!

MrsBranestawm · 30/09/2013 10:52

Sorry, meant to write more ... I'm sure it's fine. It smells of meat. Surely that's Ok? Confused

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 30/09/2013 10:54

Well of course it will smell of something..

Is this your first experience of cooking?

Ratatouille1977 · 30/09/2013 10:54

it's really strong, usually it's not that strong..I don't think I can serve it to the children, the smell is still there even cooked in a bolognese sauce !

Meat that has beeping well usually has I strong meat smell. It should be fine.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 30/09/2013 11:04

What kind of mince was it?

Good quality mince from hung steak will obviously have a stronger smell than cheaper supermarket mince.

If it just smells of 'meat' rather than 'off' then it will be fine.

Branleuse · 30/09/2013 11:04

its not off, but its well matured. You can still eat it like that, but I dont like it. My stepdad on the other hand, prefers it like that.
I think if it goes like that, its better in a chilli than in a bolognese

PseudoBadger · 30/09/2013 11:06

It's probably just oxidised. Should be fine.
