Help! I am going to a party tomorrow, and need to bring dishes which begin with an R, a J and possibly a B too... can you help?
They need to travel pretty well too which is making things slightly harder.
And just one more, to be even more awkward... they need to be veggie!

hoping you wonderful ladies will come up with some wonderful ideas!
TIA

What kind of party?
Jelly for a kids party? Rice salad for a BBQ?

Leopoldina · 27/09/2013 12:18

jambalaya. Which has rice in it.
Booze.

Sorry, it's an adults party, inside, kind of drinks and nibbles I think? And they are quite a classy couple if that helps at all?

Thanks!

Bulgar wheat
Roulade
Bloody Mary shots with horseradish
Rosemary and haloumi skewers
Bean and pumpkin spaghetti
Bean salad
Bean burgers
(All on BBC goodfood website)

I was stuck on J, but maybe you could use a Jamie Oliver recipe?
Alternatively give an old favourite a new name? 'Jeronimo curry', 'Just a little something...', 'jellybean cupcakes", 'aunt Jessie's apple pie'? Would they see the joke?
