I've just tried a delicious one ...does anyone know a really good recipe for this please? as I'd love to learn how to make it.

225g self raising flour
225g sugar
225g butter
4 eggs
zest of 3 lemons

Beat sugar, zest and butter until fluffy, add eggs and flour and mix until smooth. Bake in a 2lb loaf tin for 30-40mins at 160 fan 180 normal oven. Mix juice of lemons and 125g caster sugar. When cake is baked and still hot pour over the sugar lemon juice mix, leave to cool in the tin. Eat in big chinks with cup of tea!

DDs make mean drizzle cake, pretty much blue berry's recipe except they put a spalsh of lemon juice, lemon oil in the cake too and cook it in two one pound tins, or one tin and some lemon iced buns
