help needed with fish pie

we have poached salmon or trout each week - brain food (not brian food) for family. but gets a bit samey. would like to make a pie - ie with mash pots on top but don't have a recipe. any tips welcome.

Jamie Oliver's fantastic fish pie recipe is here - one cup of heavy cream is half a pint of double cream, I think.

but yorkie, that looks so easy. do you make your own white sauce - does it neeed to be quite thick. have you tried andding any veg to the mix?

hunker - i think i have a real problem with 'proper' recipes. i look at them and it's like high school home ec flash backs. can't ever seem to organise myself to do them. also they always seem to need odd items i don't have in... must try harder.

I'd add some frozen peas or frozen veg to it too
