Would this taste nice?

Am wanting to marinade some chicken breasts for kebab skewers for dinner tomorrow night (starter type thingies). Would a marinade of green pesto, garlic and lemon juice work or not? I've done chicken in just pesto before and that's nice but I wondered what the addition of the other two ingredients would taste like.

I think so - just wonder whether the lemon would do something funny to the cheese in the pesto but otherwise I think it would taste good. Yum

pesto as a marinade? I think it might not be nice char grilled?

pesto has garlic in already though doesnt it?

I will cook them in the oven - not BBQ. they're starter thingies.

No garlic in the pesto stuff I've got (red pesto).
