I think official line is no shell fish till over 2 years. Remember feeling wobbly when local fishmonger gave dd1 (1.10 at the time) a couple of prawns to nibble on

I thought it was 18 months. Tried to give some to DS, and he just went "ooh, yuk!", but I do know some toddlers who love them. Just make sure they're well cooked!

thanks, I've just made a fish pie for us with cod and prawns but took the prawns out for ds!
