I think official line is no shell fish till over 2 years. Remember feeling wobbly when local fishmonger gave dd1 (1.10 at the time) a couple of prawns to nibble on

I thought it was 18 months. Tried to give some to DS, and he just went "ooh, yuk!", but I do know some toddlers who love them. Just make sure they're well cooked!

thanks, I've just made a fish pie for us with cod and prawns but took the prawns out for ds!

My mum gave ds prawn curry when he was 11 months. He loved it. She took responsibity for resulting nappies. No problem!

thats babies for you!

my son used to like squid when he was about that age as it was a bit like a teething toy! He just goes "disgusting" now
