I cut the strings off the pork before cooking. Is it going to be okay? I've never cooked pork before and I'm rubbish at cooking.

Help!

It might not look as neat, but it'll taste the same. Don't panic!

MonstersDontCry · 09/09/2013 15:32

Is that it? Thank god for that!

Thanks for replying Smile

It may take less time to cook than it says if it has unravelled... I would check it more often to make sure it has not overcooked..

MonstersDontCry · 09/09/2013 16:26

Okay, I will do. What's a good way of checking it's cooked?

Stab it right to the middle of the thickest bit when the time is up, according to the weight/time instructions. If the juice that oozes out is still pink, give it another fifteen minutes.

MadeOfStarDust · 09/09/2013 16:29

just poke it and check juices run clear, not pink tinged... Or use a meat thermometer (I guess... I don't have one, but my MIL uses one all the time)

Thank you Smile I literally have idea about these things. No oe has ever taught me how to cook. My mum brought me up on a diet of sausages chips and beans!
