Help me with my beef flank!

My butcher recommended trying beef flank as a nice cheap Sunday roast.
However, can't really find any recipes for it.
Was going to stick in the slow cooker with some stock and garlic and see what happens, but has anyone got a better idea?
Butcher said cover and put I the oven on low all day, but I had expected to find some help on the Internet!

Sounds good, either long and slow or short and fast will be fine... I would suggest looking up beef skirt or onglet if you're doing an internet search, but I find this cut works really well in the slow-cooker, but equally I did a stir fry with beef skirt tonight Smile
