I need a recipe suitable for a 9month old. My dd loves pasta, spaghetti etc, but I can't find a suitable sauce for it.
Really despereate for some home made recipies.
Thanks

You can put pretty much anything over pasta - Steam some broccoli, baby marrow and then puree with a touch of creme fraiche -
Fry a little onion, add some celery and finely chopped carrot, add mince and some unsalted veg stock, stir in some chopped tomato - blend to make the mince less chewy and serve on spag.

  • make a basic tomato base, stir in some canned tuna and finely sliced black olives.
Fry up a little mushroom, baby marrow and some peas in sep pot - make a bechamel sauce and stir all togther over the pasta Otherwise - I buy some fab ready-made organic soup, thicken a bit and voila, pasta sauce!

I agree - anything tomato based is good. Use a basic tim of plum/chopped tomoatoes and add veg to it.
