Dd's birthday cake is going to be a very simple affair. Chocolate cake done in a flatish rectangular tin. I want to put chocolate icing on it and decorate with Smarties but not sure quite what would make a nice one. I've seen similar ones for sale in Sainsburys. Do they just make a buttercream icing?
