Easy, quick meals for kids - thread number 23,567 probably

Since having dd3 8 weeks ago I am beginning to think my brain was delivered with the placenta.

I can no longer think of anything healthy, quick and tasty to feed my children (6, 3) and need inspiration! Currently their diet consists of:
roast dinners
hummus, veg and pitta bread
pasta with bolognaise sauce or meatballs
fish fingers, chips and veg

bear in mind I only really have one hand to cook with (the other is holding dd3) but I really need to expand their horizons before we all go mad.

My DD loves hotdogs in gravy with brocolli.

She also loves stirfry, quick & easy and healthy
Chicken breast with golden rice she loves
new potatos and pasta and salad, she loves red peppers etc, healthy and full of colour!
i can't think of any more at the moment! lol

mine love chinese egg noodles with some veg, jacket potatoes with beans / cheese, any sort of pasta.

also cook alot of shepherds / cottage pie - you can do it earlier in the day when baby is asleep then it just needs 30 min in oven to re heat and go brown. then just serve some veg with it.

Make a soup with your left overs from your roast dinner.

Sandwiches are another good one, quick and can be very healthy. Serve with salad, carrot sticks and some dips.
Jacket pots with baked beans, tinned tuna, salad, grated cheese.
Pasta with just a cheese sauce (not great but its mega simple)
Crusty baguette (small individual ones or a large one), cut in half, smear with a tom sauce, grated cheese and various toppings, pepper, onion, ham, chicken, beef, toms, mushrooms. Voila Pizza! Another good one for after roast dinners.

cheese on toast and soup
eggs
smoked mackerel, rice, peas/other veg
chilli and wraps
casserole (not much preparation, just shove in oven and leave) my two always like it more than i anticipate
pasta, salmon, cremefraiche with brocolli
chicken breast, fill with philadelphia light, wrap with bacon, bung in oven with cherry toms (my kids love it)with rice and veg

will try and think more, my brain has also departed me (due to strong painkillers) and am trying to think of similar things for online shop that i can make with broken arm! (as you can see have come on here instead as wasn't getting very far!)

Granarybecks chilli and wraps has made me think of Nachos. Serve with chicken or chilli.

Great big bowl of it will make a fab meal.
