I have had a really rubbish couple of weeks with no meal planning and lots of last-minute rushes, am starting to get my mojo back and so:

Sun: roast chicken, roast pots/sweet pots, roast carrots in skins from garden and blackberry & apple (from neighbours' gardens picked by dds) crumble.

Mon: This with bits of left over chicken, I did peas and courgettes and used fettucine. Went down well with all.

Tues: Still have some scraps of chicken (yes I'm one of those mnetters!) so am doing a version of September's Good Food chicken sweetcorn egg fried rice.

Weds: Oven-baked ratatouille and sausages (from local farm shop) with sweet potato wedges.

Thurs: Cauliflower & bacon pasta

Fri: Fish n chips on the beach with friends

Sat: Jamie's 30 min chicken pie (modified!)

Anyone else?

I love meal plan threads, although, they always lead me to break my own plan as i'm always tempted by everyone elses food!
My week from today goes-
Ham, spinach and tomato gnocchi
Wednesday- roast fresh new potatoes, wrapped in bacon, with a chickpea meatless loaf slice.
Thursday- Bulgar wheat tabbouleh (probably more meatless loaf)
Friday- chorizo, new potatoes and fried egg
Saturday- mushroom and kale lasagne
Sunday- chicken and leek pie

True PP, though I have shopped to this plan so will stick to it for this week. Would you mind sharing the chickpea loaf recipe? Sounds yum and DD1 loves chickpeas.

Like the sound of a mustardy pasta sauce - do you use wholgrain?

The chickpea loaf is an allegra mceverdy recipe from economy gastronomy. In a food processor blitz a can of chickpea, one or two roast red peppers (I use jarred) two cloves of garlic, salt, pepper and a tablespoon of oil. Slice a red chilli, chop a red onion, a bunch of coriander and two eggs. Mix it all up, season well, shove in a lined loaf tin, bake for about forty minutes at 160c. Leave to cool, and slice. Fry your slices in hot oil for a minute for crispy edges and eat. It's very nice. And lasts for days so good healthy snack food, esp, of you shove it in the George Forman to crisp instead of frying in oil.

Yes Chimneydeep it's just some sliced sausages and onions fried until caramelized add in some chicken stock and 1-2tsp wholegrain mustard and pasta.
