want to cook fillets on ridged fry pan. Have sweet chilli, soy, honey, olive oil, tomato puree etc but no lemon. Any suggestions?

TIA

Mmmm. All of thsoe minus the tom paste sounds good. Mix a small batch and taste for the balance of sweet/salty/spicy?

Got any mustard for the old classic - honey and mustard. A juice of an ornage in there is nice too (with a little olive oil?)

Got any fresh herbs in the garden or any garlic hanging around? Loads you could do then :)

doh! meant orange of course..

Yoghurt is good in a marinade - got any plain yoghurt to mess about with?

Use the chilli, soy and honey and a touch of oil (not olive). Also ginger and garlic if you have.

Resist urge to slop everything in.Less is more.

moondog :)
I was at a slimming world meeting (my first!!!) last week. There was a woman who was describing her "delicious" kebabs and was asked to tell us about her marinade. It had a list of about 20 ingedients and made us all feel sick - can’t remember it all but had orange juice, orange liqueur, rosemary, garlic, ketchup, red wine etc etc EEEUUUUYYYCHCCHCHHH!
Def agree about the less is more policy
