Hi,

i'm doing a cake in a very pale pink and probably going to do the other tier in a very pale baby blue. I'm going to paint the colours directly onto the fondant as directed in the two books i'm using (one sponges it on after its been mixed with lemon extract the other just paints). What would be good shades to use? or will any blue/ pink do as long as its diluted down enough? I've always tinted the sugarpaste before so this is new territory for me.
I particularly like the opulent cupcakes on the cotton and crumbs website for a colourway (near the end of the cupcake gallery). All suggestions very welcome!
