Help with Tecnik hob

Hello MN'ers,
I have just moved into a rented flat and it has a Tecnik five burner gas hob. All of the writing has rubbed off the dials, there is no manual in the flat and the company that makes it, Moben, is no longer in business. There are no manuals available on the Internet anywhere and I have to cook dinner. Anyone out there with a Tecnik hob who can share some info? The rings don't turn on and I can't seem to do anything to get the oven heating or fan started.

Thanks!

It's a bit late for dinner now, Slim ... Did you get it going? Would it be ridiculous to ask whether the gas is turned on? There should be a gas pipe leading to the cooker, probably with a little tap thing on it.

It might be as well to ask your landlord for a new cooker. Apparently they were rubbish to begin with, and have been unsupported since about 2009. See here: www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/about-the-appliance-industry/manufacturer-information/2804-tecnik-domestic-appliances.html
