Your home made fish and chips? It just seems like not enough so I thought maybe a salad or is the whole point just to have an occasionally unbalanced meal?

If I was making them at home then I would have peas, preferably mushy - but I can't find non coloured ones here now.

And ketchup counts you know Grin

I count ketchup as the veg - as you say it's an unhealthy treat.

Goodness me you are incredible. I'm going to ask at the local vegan bean place.

Its an unhealthy treat - give them lots of fruit for pudding. I make something healthy for me and then spend the whole meal begging for bits from the kids. They get v posessive though.

ended up having steamed carrot, saute onions and peas, lovely.

Thanks so much - I have now found marrowfat peas in the vegan shop - what do I do to make them mushy peas. My mum always had a tablet thingie that she put in - what is that, and do I really need it?
