Chutney recipes

Preferably spiced, preferably using either apples or plums - any good tried and tested recipes??

I made this 2 years ago and it was really nice and kept really well.

Google 'Old Dowerhouse' chutney which is a Delia Smith recipe - very good, uses plums and apples.

any recipes without ginger?

I could leave it out but concerned it might remove the intended taste of the end product. I can't manage ginger in anything, it takes over the flavour entirely
