Please help!! Post Op food ideas for DD

Ok guys. I urgently need inspirational ideas for food. DD had major surgery on Thursday on her jaw. She had four teeth out and is wearing bite blocks. She has eaten very little since then and so far has eaten two tuna mayonnaise sandwiches, several bags of skips, about four yogurty tubes, a pancake and tiny bites of; scrambled eggs, mashed potato and mince, and salmon with rice. The rice was not a popular choice. I really need food that won't get stuck in the bite blocks on her teeth and stuff that doesn't require chewing. She will not eat soup, tinned spaghetti or baked beans before anyone suggests it. She's also not keen on puréed food (dormant food phobia issues as a baby). Please help!! Thanks Smile

Is pasta too chewy?
Omelette
Fish in sauce and mash (could do carrot and swede mash or sweet potato)

Macaroni cheese
Cauliflower cheese
Fish cakes to nibble

Fishcakes are good, I will make those as bought ones never taste as nice. Fish pie, great suggestion. She doesn't eat pasta aboard from tortellini so maybe the small ones would be good? Great ideas, please keep them coming. Smile

Wow, that's tough. Will she eat noodles?
I was going to say fish pie.
Cottage pie
Spanish omelette/tortilla
Quesadillas (soft flour tortillas fried with melted cheese inside)
Macaroni cheese
Cauliflower cheese

Casseroles with very slow cooked meat so it's easy to eat.
Tuna pasta bake

How is she now? Can totally sympathise with her as I've had major jaw surgery. Basically anything will blend, tell her to google youtube will it blend if she's bored Grin

Try chocolate Ready Brek and Complan as well as blending her meals. The Complan isn't the best tasting food but if she's hungry she will probably love it and it should stop her loosing too much weight.

How about smoothies too, as long as they aren't too cold? So try milk whizzed up with banana, golden syrup and banana.
