A friend is poorly and having treatment so a few of us are making some meals to go in the freezer for her and her family. I volunteered to make chicken pie and lasagne. I'm going to roast a chicken and use the meat to make a pie for us and a pie for them. I usually use frozen puff pastry. Do I cook the pie and freeze, or do I just put the pastry on, they freeze it, and then they cook it, obviously the inside will be cooked.
