has anyone made cookie pops?

My god daughter has a birthday coming up. She is also obsessed with moustaches ( I don't know how this trend started ).
So I thought it would be cool idea to make her some cookie pops in the shape of moustaches for her party. So her and her little friends can hold them in front on of their faces and pretend they've got tashes (probably while doing duckface).
BUT
I don't know what type of sticks to use or when in the process to put them in.

Any advice or experiences will be gratefully recieved.

Great idea!

You can get lolly sticks from the likes of Lakeland and it would depend on what sort of biscuit you're cooking as to when you'd insert the stick. You'd need to soak the sticks in after if you're putting the in the uncooked biscuit and then baking.

Could you make a chocolate mould and make tache lollies? Less crumbs, that's all.

Great idea Frisky. This one looks good.

Or sandwiches!

That's a good idea, Frisky but I've already ordered tash cutters. Doh

I need wooden sticks don't I? Do you think I need to soak them first?
