sweet tart fillings

im planning on making a few easy tarts for a bbq. they need to be super easy as dont have much time with a 7 month old. ive found a nice key lime recipe but am a but stumped on other ones. any ideas?

Pastry cream and then berries on the top. Such as this one. So proud I put a picture of it on my Facebook! Pastry cream is a kind of thick custard so if you have made custard before it should be OK? Main thing is it doesn't matter too much what it looks like cos it all gets covered up with berries.
