Stir-fry tips, please?

We have a lot of veg, always (veg box). I make stirfries, but suspect they could be tastier. What I do:

  • slowly cook garlic/onions
  • add more veg, try to keep temp up and cook it quickly
  • add nuts/seeds
  • often add nam pla or soy sauce at end
  • serve on quinoa/rice/whatever

Are stirfries better with lots of different kids of veg? Or few ones?

Try some strips of ginger - and a dash of sherry!!

Oh, yes, I do put ginger in. I have chinese cooking wine, would that do? Don't think we have any sherry in the house ... oh, we have port, marsala, some stuff like that, I think.

I'm sure port would do the job! We're never short on sherry, with my mum around Grin
