garlic mushroom starter

me and dp went out sat for a lovely pub meal he had garlic mushrooms wich were very yummy, they were mushrooms in a creamy garlicky sauce, the sauce was the same colour as the mushrooms, looking for a recipe for it thank you

Mmmm, you're making me hungry. I make a similar starter to this. Fry up some chopped onion and garlic, add mushrooms - when cooked add a pot of creme fraiche. Melt a large chunk of stilton in the microwave and stir into the mushroom/creme fraiche mixture. Then serve.
It's delicious.
