I have read a few and have found one or two massively helpful but I'm sure there are a lot more out there that I have no idea about. If anyone could pass on any recommendations then I would be really grateful.

I'm looking for family food blogs mostly although I quite like a browse most foodie related things!

Thanks in advance.

When you say "food blogs" do you mean just talking about food, or how to cook food, or how to save money on groceries etc ??

Toowittoowoo · 02/08/2013 14:17

Oh, I hadn't really thought about it! So far I have only read ones that talk about recipes so I guess I am looking for more of them. I just find them really useful as they are cheaper than a recipe book and it is actually proper 'real' people who have cooked the food so they can sometimes be more reliable.

But I could always do with saving money on groceries so that would not be bad!

I like one called 'crumbs' , it's quick simple but tasty family food link here

Yep, I love crumbs too! That it the one I've got loads of recipes from. I suppose I was hoping for another that useful!!

I like their 3 minute chocolate microwave cake (or whatever it's called) as a last minute pud

Toowittoowoo · 02/08/2013 14:38

I'm not sure it is a great idea for me to know how to make a cake-in-a-cup in 3 mins though.....very dangerous!

My favourites are broccoli pasta and prawn and pineapple curry. Both of them get cooked practically every week. I am a great fan of good food that can be cooked in 10 mins......

Recipe Rifle, for how crap it sometimes is to be a mum, and occasionally you get a recipe too! You have to be happy with swearing Wink
Smitten Kitchen, just fab
Orangette
101 cookbooks Lovely photos, bit too healthy for me though!

These are my regulars, I get emailed when they update :)

Hi Toowittoowoo, I'm not sure if you read it before but I really like www.dinneralovestory.com
I have tried a lot of their recipes out and found them very good. You can skip the reading and head straight to the recipe index..but I actually like reading their updates.

The only one I read is Alice Can't Cook, because it's funny (not sure if that's what you're after though?)
