Help - need pudding inspiration

We're going to a street party this weekend and we've been asked to bring a pudding that feeds 6+. I never make puddings so I have no idea what to make. A friend suggested doing pavlova but two other people brought pavlovas last year so I suspect someone else will bring one of those. I also don't fancy making a trifle. What can I do??

Cheesecake, absolute crowd pleaser! This one is really easy and a few people thought I'd bought it when I made it for a party, v quick to make: www.nigella.com/recipes/view/cherry-cheesecake-34

Large bowl, whip up half a pint of double cream until soft, add a couple of tubs of Greek yogurt. Blitz a box of raspberries and a handful of strawberries with a little sugar. Swirl most of it into into cream and yogurt. Shortly before serving, mix in 8 bashed up meringues and another handful of chopped strawberries, dribble any remaining blitzed fruit over the top. Eton mess, easy and delicious.

I was going to go for Eton Mess - but I'll give you my recipe for 'killer' ice cream instead.

One large tub of double cream. Whip till stiff.
Fold in one large tub of ready made custard and one tin of condensed milk. Few drops of vanilla essence.

Pour into tub and shove in freezer for 24 hours or so.
