What about fish pie?

Poach some fish in milk for 5-10mins, then drain whilst reserving the milk. Boil some peas and sweetcorn. Cut fish in pieces, add the veg. Meanwhile make a white sauce with the reserved milk. Add cheese. Pour over fish etc. Cover with mash, grate a little cheese on top. Voila. Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!

I often do a Veggie Chilli Shepherds Pie too:

Make a veggie chilli, with kidney beans and cannellini beans, Peppers, Toms, Mushrooms etc to replace the meat, then top with mash and grated cheese. Always goes down a treat in this house!

dd and friend had Bubble & Squeak on Friday night they both loved it! DD friend asked me to ring her mum and give her the recipe Wink

Such a lot of appreciation for such a tiny effort - makes it all worthwhile IMO!
