What can I do with all these apples???

I always have lots of apples as I'm a childminder and they do get through them. Been off sick most of this week and have about 10 little gala apples that are just going to go off in this heat if I don't do something with them.

Any ideas's what I can do with them???

if you stick them in the fridge when they're still good it'll make them live another week.

failing that, apple pie?? :) apple sauce?fruit salad?

Never really cooked with apples

Isn't there eve's pudding? I have a recipe for an apple cake somewhere, from a neighbour. He said it works really well. Has wholemeal flour, too.

I second the apple crumble with oatmeal. It makes a great breakfast too. Porridge and fruit so it must be good for you
