I have only had it once before and I steamed it.

Is it meant to be eaten raw?
Thanks.

I had it with some other vegetables tempur style and it was delicious. I've also gently sauteed it and it was good.

Pick up samphire, walk to compost bin, lift lid, throw it in Grin

All its good for! helpful

My mum steams it & serves with butter, the loon.

I love samphire. I just boil it for a couple of minutes. I will try sauteing it next

I got the idea from the Paleo thread.
Isn't it meant to be really healthy?

I'll try gently sautéing it.

Bruffin
How come my sautéing has an accent and your's doesn't?

I've no idea Consils
I wrote that on my work pc and probably didn't spell check. I have just typed sautéing and it does bring it up as a spelling error and the alternative it brings up has the accent.

Sauté in butter (copy and paste Wink). It tends to be salty so don't add extra.
