I am making hubby a Victoria sandwich for his birthday but I have only one 24cm (9")?? Springform cake tin!

Do any if you have a recipe that includes temperature and cooking time for this size tin that I can then cut in half? I am am bamboozled!!!

TIA

Or can I make a different, plain, sponge that can be sandwiched with jam and buttercream?
I started off with such enthusiasm and am now feeling very deflated Sad

here you go - just increase the cooking time

Depends if your spring form tin is full depth? Mine isn't, nore a deep cheese cake tin.

So I'd do, 5 eggs, 10 oz each flour, butter/marg sugar, 1-1.5 baking powder, vanilla to taste and a splash of milk.

170ºC for approximately an hour, it may take a bit more.

Thanks!
Ummm, what's full depth? Mine is about 3" deep?
