Hot dog sausages

I love hot dogs but cannot bring myself to eat them due to their dubious content (mechanically reclaimed meat & sinew...yuk!) dies anyone know of a hot dog sausage that has a less yucky content or are they by their very nature meant to be full of crap hence their unique taste?

Yes - these Helen Browning organic hot dogs are amazing. They are a bit on the pricey side but taste fantastic. My DD loves them.
I get them from Ocado - not sure if any of the supermarkets stock them or not.

I use vegetarian sausages. Dcs don't know the difference, it's all they have ever had. It's all about the ketchup anyway!

I also buy vegetarian ones - Morrison's own brand
