Been given different advice from different hv's some say wait until she is a year and some say 6 months.

i ha to give me dd an antibitotic when she was a few months old which i think resulted in her reaction to formul a milk. luckily she got over it when i introduced it at 7 1/2 months.

aaaaaaaaaanyway, because she has that reaction i decided to wait until she was closer to one for egss.

i have moaned about my dd's poor appetite in the past and it has got no better. i am now considering introducing her to eggs... you never know, she might like them (pleeeeeeeease God!)

she is almost 11 months, shall io hang out more?
one hv just said make her scrambled egg, but th eother said introduce the yellow part first and then the white.

any advice much appreciated.

mucho gracias

thanks twiglett - all these horror stories about allergic reactions make me feel uneasy whenever i intorduce new foods especially because my dd had a reaction to formula milk when very small.
i think i'll do what you done.

apparently it's the albumen in the white that causes an allergic reaction (my ds has been allergic).

Introduce the yolk of a hardboiled egg first (it mashes up well with a bit of milk or yogurt or soup), and if she's OK with that after a few times, then introduce whole egg - or wait a few more months. The yolk is mostly fat and flavour. The white is mostly protein, and as Madgirl says that's what usually causes reactions.
