Picnic brunch?

I am planning a picnic but it needs to be at around 11am. I'm wondering if I should try and theme it as a brunch picnic - I love the idea, but am struggling to think of brunch food that would survive picnicking. Yes, croissants and orange juice, but it's a celebration, so I want it to feel special. Any ideas?

Frittata travels well, loads if recipes if you google. I make larger amounts in the oven, either one big one or individual ones in muffin tins. You could add bacon to some, peas work well for vegetarians, cooked potato good too

Continental breakfast components will all travel well. Or get out the disposable barbecue and make everyone a bacon sandwich while pouring chilled Bloody Marys out of a flask.
