What can I do with on-the-turn pears?

If they were brown bananas I'd make banana loaf! But they are brown pears which my pear eating children are wincing and grimacing at! Are there any easy peasy ways to use them up?

There's a really ace nigella express recipe for choc pear pud. One of those things I seem to just have the ingredients for floating about normally. Chocolate will hide the brown bits!!

pear and choc pud

Pear crumble or stew them, freeze them in ice cubes and add to porridge or natural yoghurt later

You could try mashing them up and adding to pancake mix.

Do you have any raspberries and/or chocolate sauce, and some icecream?

Yummmmm thank you! I think I have enough for the pud, and then pancakes in the morning sound great. Nigella recipes are always fab aren't they?!
