TheLadyVanishes · 31/05/2006 16:48

yes, its the same as wholemeal bread. As long as your lo is gluten tolerant, its fine.

sugarfree · 31/05/2006 16:59

None of mine have been really great with wholemeal anything til they've been older tbh.
Awful nappies, red bums rather than anything major though.
Try your little one and see.
(We've got spag bol tonight too)

I think it's a bit fibrous for them to have all the time. They need stodge and fat, babies.

suejonez · 31/05/2006 17:14

Doesn't wholemeal flour prevent absorption of one of the vitamins (D?) so it isn't recommended to give it to them exclusively. Also it fills babies up with too much fibre when they need to be filled with calories. Don't think it does any harm though.

used organic spag (i'm organic mad at the moment), decided to hang back on using the wholemeal
