Lactose Intolerant?

Wasn't sure where to post this one, but it seemed like the best place.

I think I may be lactose intolerant all of sudden. I've noticed that whenever I eat anything dairy I get really bad stomach (and bum) pains an hour or two later.

The same happens if I eat anything with a lot of sauce. BBQ sauce is especially bad. Anything salty, like chips or pork has a really bad effect.

But that would imply something to do with yeast or salt perhaps?

I've cut down or cut out all of the above. But it would be good to know exactly what and why it's happening.

I'd suggest you visit your GP and he will do some tests to confirm. In the meantime try eating lots of fruit and vegetables and also buy some lactose free milk. Have porridge for breakfast using the milk. Jacket potatoes with tuna etc and chicken fish and rice dishes should also help you. Try to avoid cheese too. There is a lactose free version of that too.
Good luck and hope your doctor can shed some light on your problems Smile

Lots of processed food has whey powder in it, you could be reacting to that.
