how do I poach egg in microwave??????

How do you poach an egg in the microwave for a 2 year old???

always do mine on the hob, but Google suggests breaking egg into a cup, piercing yolk with toothpick (so it doesn't explode), cover with clingfilm and zap for a minute.

Not sure how you poach in a microwave but you can certainly cook eggs. Crack the egg into a small microwavable container which has been buttered. Pierce the yolk with a sharp knife otherwise it will explode. Then cook in short bursts until it's cooked to your taste.
