Really need some new ideas to freshen it up

Please help Grin

Chicken wings. Chop off the tips, place on a baking sheet, sprinkle with Cajun or some such seasoning, roast for about 30 mins turning a couple of times. Alternatively, drizzle with honey towards end of cooking and sprinkle with lightly toasted sesame seeds. Serve with 'dirty' rice or baked potatoes and salad.

Spaghetti with tomato sauce
Pancakes with bacon and cheese served with golden syrup
Vegetable curry (fry onion in some olive oil add cubed potatoes, chopped carrots, chopped green beans or cauliflower, add water to cover the veg add curry powder and simmer for 40 minutes) serve with rice. You could add tofu as a meat replacement, in that case add tofu to onion and fry for further 5 minutes before adding all veg.
Red lentil soup

our family favourites are:

mixed halved veg sausages, potatoes(part cooked in microwave 1st),cubed squash and wedges of onion and tomato mixed in a tbs of oil and roasted at 170 -180 for @ 40 mins

potato (cooked),pea and cheese omelette with salad and crusty bread (dh and dd like this with left over spaghetti instead of potatoes but they are weird imo Wink )

veg curry, chilli, stew, pasta sauce are easy to make in bulk with whatever veg/herbs are in season and freeze. ..

mussels (out of their shells, the asda pack for £1 does 2 easily) in a spicy(paprika, chilli), lemony, tomato, garlic and onion sauce with crusty bread and a few oven chips

Catalan style fish and potato stew on a tomato, garlic and onion sauce base

and never forget the power of a crumble (freeze a load of topping)/semolina/rice pudding ,done when the oven is on,to fill em up!
