How long does juice last in your house?

I've got a carton of cranberry juice I opened this time last week, it says use within 3 days of opening, but it still tastes fine. Me and DH like different fruit juices and usually only have a glass a day each at most which means they never get used up within the 3 days. Sometimes I have to chuck them if they start to smell funny which seems such a waste. How long does a normal carton of juice last in your house and do you keep drinking it past the use by?

I totally ignore the 3 day thing, I'm the only juice drinker in the house. You can tell if it's off - it will fizz slightly or taste or smell overly-sweet.

What flavour do you drink? I find orange juice goes off very quickly, or maybe it's just easier to tell when it's off! I wonder if drinking it when it's off negates any health benefits/nutrition?

Orange juice does go off quicker than other juices - I used to be a cater-waiter (in a vair nice hotel which did vair cheap breakfast buffets) and if you were on a breakfast shift you always had to check the jugs of orange juice for fizziness.

If only juice could hang around long enough to go off in my house.
DS2 drinks fresh orange( smooth, no bits) and pressed apple as if it were tap water.
Gone within 3 days of purchase even with rationing !
