Storing muffins?

Where's best to store home-baked muffins with no paper cases (made in silicon muffin tins)? The kids made 2 batches on sunday and as I am trying not to eat them I need somewhere they can be stored for a while. Are they best to be frozen or will they last in the fridge (or will that make them go stale)?

We made nutella swirl banana muffins and blueberry muffins and both were yummy. Nutella banana ones shown.

I think they would be fine to freeze, they sound gorgeous btw!

would I wrap them in something, put them in freezer bags, etc (never really frozen baked stuff before)

Freeze them in a resealable bag - 20sec defrost in the microwave and they are close to perfect.

thanks

would I freeze in separate bags or stick a few in the same bag or would they stick together?

Homemade muffins don't keep well.
Airtight container and eat within 48 hrs; do not refrigerate.
Alternatively freeze as soon as they are cool.

Place them carefully in one layer in the bag, so they don't stick together as much, once frozen the muffins will be fairly robust.

ended up wrapping each individually in a bit of foil and then put them in a freezer bag together. Hope they will be ok. Thanks everyone.
