Does anyone have a recipe for a Greek Salad? My daughter is supposed to be doing one at school and has lost the recipe her teacher gave her. She knows there is feta cheese and salad stuff. But is there any other diferent ingredients in it? Thankyou

could throw in a green pepper too

at least that's the way the Greek Cypriots in North London make them

Lemon may be more authentic however...Wink

Yes,def. room for a pepper or two if so desired.

The authentic ones generally have dried oregano in too; well according to AWT anyway. I sometimes put a sprinkle in mine but not too much as it can be overpowering.

I like this one -- chop a red onion up in thin slivers and soak in lime juice and olive oil with some dried oregano... leave for a couple of hours... then thrown in cubed feta cheese, black olives and chopped tomatoes... bits of crunchy lettuce as well.. can add cucumber if liked or raw fennel...
