Oh god I love my potato ricer.. Grin But I only use it for potatoes.. Mm..

Apparently you can make spatzle (no idea how to spell that, the german noodley thing) with it, but I've never tried eating or making them.

You can make noodles with it as well. Mine has 3 different metal plates with different sized holes in it for that purpose. Although I've only ever used it for making mash!

making noodles

Makes good smooth banana mush for use in banana muffins. But that and potato are about the only things it makes here.

Which ricer did you get????

multitask · 01/06/2013 18:59

Thank you, I thought you lovely ladies would have weird and wonderful things to do with your ricer :) I am a little disappointed but suppose I should really start with mastering potatoes first! I shall then move on to bananas and noodles although the holes in this one are quite small..

I may have dreamt this but, I think I read on here about ice cream spaghetti made with a ricer.

piebald · 04/06/2013 20:26

Ice cream spaghetti--looks so much fun but i havent tried making it yet, i cant wait to surprise the kids with it. It was on here a couple of weeks ago
