pickled eggs

I would like to make pickled eggs I think I would prefer to use white vinegar but that's all I know. Some recipes say to use pickling spices, what are they? So lovely MNers tell me how do I pickle an egg and with what?

Easy peasy- go to www.accidentalsmallholder.net and search pickled eggs. There is a good recipe, i make them a lot, last year i made purple pickled eggs by adding beetroot but they were a bit scary even for my family!
