How many yoghurts do your children eat EACH week?

Do you give them several each meal or one each meal? How old are your DD or DS? Are they for treats? Which sort are their favourites?

DS's get one small fromage frais each after lunch around 5 days per week.

Caligula · 24/05/2006 19:53

None. They don't like them.

brimfull · 24/05/2006 19:55

most weeks I buy 4 of the proper sized organic children's yogurts

that's his lot

roisin · 24/05/2006 20:01

DS1 won't drink milk, and has toast rather than cereal for breakfast. So he has a yoghurt with breakfast and after tea to boost his calcium intake.

FrayedKnot · 24/05/2006 20:20

DS has one in his packed lunch Mon-Fri.

Rarely he has one at home, because he's not that keen.

I keep Yeo Valley in business.

I save the pots from Fruit Tumbles and then top them up from the large, ordinary tub.

She eats two pots a day.

notasheep · 24/05/2006 20:22

Ration them to one a day otherwise thats all they would eat

Posey · 24/05/2006 20:22

Mine have both fromage frais (small pots) and normal yogurt. Average 10 per week I would say.
They are 8 and 3.

DS has one after lunch and tea most days so between 10-14 a week.

PanicPants · 24/05/2006 20:26

Proibably six per week of petit filous small pots, although I do sometimes substitute one for nat yoghurt and fruit a few times a week. Ds is 9 months

Thomcat · 24/05/2006 20:28

Anything from 0-14 a week. She is 4.5yrs. She asks / signs for 'more' after each meal and is offered either fruit or a yoghurt and she chooses. I would only give her 1 pot per meal. I'm currently buing those ones that come in little square pouches from Sainsburys that you squeeze straight into your mouth as handy for lunch boxes. Otherwise I buy petis filos.
