Don't lynch me but I am a big fan of frozen mash mainly because I struggle mashing potatoes because of a joint problem. But can I cook the frozen mash & then reheat the leftovers? I get so confused on reheating frozen stuff

Yes, you can freeze it in portions and then either pop in the microwave or in the oven to reheat

Put a little bit of butter or milk in when you reheat to stop it drying out

I would have said no, actually, cos it would be cooking it for a third time - I thought you could only reheat stuff once.

You are talking about ready made frozen mash, aren't you - not making mash yourself then freezing it?

Yes it's the frozen mash so yes it's been cooked once already. If I make the mash myself I know it's ok to freeze & be reheating. Oh well perhaps I would be best just cooking smaller portions if using the frozen mash.
Thank you
