After some advice about my slow cooked beef...ASAP please :)

Hi all, I used Jamie Oliver's slow cooked beef and ale stew recipe. It has been in the slow cooker since 8.30 this morning on low. Just checked it and the beef is still hard! I didn't fry of any ingredients including beef, just chicke it all in!

Should I put it on high for a few hours?

Hi

You would have been better frying it off to start with to seal in the flavours, also cooking on medium would be better. Hope it turns out okay sorry only just got back to you. Smile
