Does anyone actually eat anything *interesting* for breakfast?

Am sooooo bored of breakfast, to the point of not being arsed to eat it, thereby shortening my life by about a decade apparently.

Ideas? No cereal or toast allowed on this thread.

We have waffles on a Sunday. Nigella's American Pancake batter in a Tchibo waffle iron. Spread with butter and honey or chocolate spread. Yum!

Pruni · 23/05/2006 15:33

Fruit and natural youghurt and honey occasionally, peanut butter on brown toast more regularly Blush

YellowFeathers · 23/05/2006 15:34

Oh I also love croissants. Throw them in the oven for a couple of mins.
Yumm

tissy · 23/05/2006 15:35

Chopped banana with a sprinkling of crunchy cereal (Pref Jordan's), natural yoghurt and honey

hunkermunker · 23/05/2006 15:35

Have just eaten a couple of croissants, but for lunch.

Kathy1972 · 23/05/2006 15:35

DH sometimes does Scotch pancakes on a Sunday which we have with blueberries, banana, maple syrup and yoghurt.

Or you could go Japanese and have miso soup.

CountessDracula · 23/05/2006 15:38

Bircher Muesli

Is yum

Soak oats overnight in apple juice

Add yoghurt (whatever flavour you like or plain) plus fruit

My fave is with fruits of the forest yoghurt and then add raspberries, blackberries and blueberries

MissChief · 23/05/2006 15:39

obvious stuff like smoothies with bits in
yoghurt with bits in

CountessDracula · 23/05/2006 15:40
