it's a fillet of plaice, been in the fridge in its original packaging since I bought it and its use by date was the 17th. Is it ok I cook and freeze down or should I bin it? It's to make a few meals for 22mo dd.

I would look and smell it. Most of my food doesn't come with a label, so I have to look and smell the item.
