cooking cookies on Baking paper

Weel it says it all really.. Should i bake my cookies on the tray or on baking parchment??

Either is fine, but if you use a tray, make sure you grease it first, otherwise they will stick

Thank you, have greased and a slight dusting of flour, last time i made cookies on parchment they ended up in the bin, because it stuck to the bottom of them Sad x

Invest in the reusable silicon stuff.

Mine came from my local posh cook shop, DF uses it for drop scones directly on her Aga. £8 for two baking sheets worth, but nothing sticks to it, it's easy to wash and you can use any old dead backing tray under it.

Are you sure you used parchment? I've known greaseproof baking paper to stick, but never parchment.
