I cooked a batch a butter beans and then froze them. I now want to use them so am i ok to defrost them, add them to the meal and then refreeze in potions for DS? im thinking no.
Also how is the best way to reheat? is microwave ok?

thanks.

and yes microwave would be ok to reheat them

WideWebWitch · 21/05/2006 10:08

Why don't you only defrost the portion size you need and leave the rest frozen or is that a silly question?

But can't you freeze mince, make it into a spag bol/whatever, and refreeze that?

suzywong · 21/05/2006 10:18

yes because you are defrosting a raw item, cooking it and then freezing it in its altered state.

Sho enough am American now Honey

I'm thinking Oprah Winfrey in The Color Purple-esque. It's the bean questions, set me on a collard green/chitlings road, don't know wy.
