I have some diced beef in the freezer and on a bit of a run to try and empty it a little. What would you cook with it?

Its's just for toddler dc and myself.

I do Chinese cinnamon beef noodle soup minus the chilli, and I use star anise instead of anise seed, whatever that is. It's yummy.

My DC's both like a beef stew with root veggies, and it's quite cold enough tonight to enjoy one. Another tasty option is a pie, with whatever veggies you have / like.

Same as MilkRunningOutAgain but I cook it in guinness/bitter or red wine as mine are older now! Google JO's Jool's fav beef stew it's lovely and obv all the alcohol evaporates in the cooking process.
Failing that what about a curry, cornish pasties or mincing into a cottage pie?

Oh I might try a pie or pasty :). I'm not a huge fan of onions (I can't abide by them but I know they are pretty essential to cooking) so even though I would love to do cottage pie I really dislike when the onions mix with mash.
